Remote Area Delivery
This surcharge is applied if it is difficult for the deliverers to carry your parcel because of the location.
If your place is the remote area, we might charge you the additional shipping cost.

Security Services
Elevated Risk(Countries where DHL operates at elevated risk.)
A surcharge is applied when shipping to or importing from a destination country, DHL is operating at elevated risk due to continuous state of war, civil unrest, or continuous threats from terrorism.


Restricted Destination(Shipping in compliance with trade restrictions)
A surcharge applies when shipping to or importing from a destination country that is subject to specific trade restrictions imposed by the UN Security Council.

Countries affected (subject to change): Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Iran, Iraq, North Korea, Libya, Somalia, Syria and Yemen

Shipping rule for reels

The shipping charge for reels are free except for some reels (sales items).
PLAT will arrange the shipping method which is the safest and the cheapest.

Shipping rule for rods
The shipping charge is written at the right side of the rod's name.
If you see "Free shipping", shipping charge is Free.
If you see 2000YEN, the shipping charge is 2000YEN.
If you see "(OverSize Charge)", the additional shipping charge is around 4000YEN.
If you don't see anything, PLAT will arrange the shipping method which is the safest and the cheapest and calculate it.
The rods which are the closed length is longer than 150cm will be shipped by FedEx.

Shipping service
Delivery is "package drop service" for some countries.
Please be careful the tracking number all time.
Especially, the delivery for USA sometimes have trouble by theft by this shipping service.
If you don't want "package drop service" , you have to pay the extra cost.
Please tell me your request before we send the bill .
International Buyers -Please Note-
Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility. Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying. These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up. Please do not regard it as the additional shipping charge. It is the cost the customers have to pay. Paying tax and custom clearance handling charge is the duty of the person who buy something from another country.

We cannot estimate how much you have to pay to your custom in your country prior to your purchase because customers from more than 190 countries buys from PLAT and import tax is different from items and countries. And import tax or VAT is changed frequently.

Based on the above, We cannot pay for your import tax on my side.

If you refuse the parcel, one of the three things below will happen.

1. You pay the tax and receive the parcel (normal).
2. You pay the tax and the deliverer throw the parcel away.
3. You pay the tax and the reshipping charge and the deliverer ship the parcel back to our office.

In other words, even if you refuse the parcel because of the custom, you have to pay the custom anyway.

The packing will be returned to you.


Please write "Returned goods" and "Made in Japan" on the package.
Please use the service from the post office .
Please don't use Cargo (UPS, FedEx, DHL etc)
It is because Cargo carrier may charge some import tax later .
And we have to bill the tax to you with repair cost together .
When goods are exchanged
  1. Shipping fee (From You, To Us) Please pay.
  2. Shipping fee (From Us, To You) Please pay.
  3. We refuse returned items which are not the same conditions when we shipped (e.g. all tags are supposed to be attached).
  4. You have to pay all shipping costs required for returned goods.
  5. When returning the item sent by discount shipping., we bill you difference of shipping charges.
  6. Please be sure to write "returned goods" on an invoice.
