The EMERALDAS X, a dedicated squid fishing standard model, has been renewed to enhance its basic performance and operability!
The previous model, the 19EMERALDAS, was well-received as an entry-level squid fishing machine that embodied the EMERALDAS design and achieved high basic performance.
In this latest version, the rotor material has been upgraded from DS4 to ZAION V, achieving weight reduction and increased rigidity. Furthermore, the adoption of AIRDRIVE DESIGN has improved weight balance, resulting in reduced fatigue from holding the reel. This reduction in fatigue during squid fishing, which involves repeated jigging and reeling, enables high operability, allowing the angler to control the squid jig as desired.
Additionally, the installation of an AIRDRIVE ROTOR with a spherical shape and an AIRDRIVE BAIL with inclined settings helps reduce line troubles.
The drag system adopts the ATD TYPE-L, which enhances initial response. Although the main line used for squid fishing is thin at PE0.6, the quick landing enabled by the use of thin lines and the ATD TYPE-L, which prevents line breaks, bring a sense of security during actual fishing.
By adopting the "EMERALDAS green" color, which symbolizes the EMERALDAS design, it matches well with EMERALDAS rods and satisfies the sense of ownership with its design.
