MADAQ, the octopus-specific lure, has undergone a scientific evolution to further increase hit rates.
Now equipped with newly designed claws, it mimics the real movement of prey to trigger a strong response from octopuses.
In addition to the standard MADAQ Hook, the optional MADAQ Hook Big (sold separately) is now compatible, making it reliable even when targeting large octopuses. It also performs effectively in strong tidal currents.
Previously, many strikes were missed when octopuses floated above the seabed and mistakenly grabbed the sinker instead of the lure. To solve this, the Great MADAQ was designed to suspend naturally while keeping the claws moving actively.
Its action strategy is twofold: when moved aggressively, the claws create strong vibrations to attract targets over a wide area. When paused, the fine, brush-like legs entice even cautious octopuses that approach but hesitate to strike. This design significantly improves hook-up rates.
