The 24LUVIAS ST (Sensitive Tune): A Specially Tuned Lightweight Spinning Reel Based on LUVIAS

The 24LUVIAS ST (Sensitive Tune) is a special model based on the lightweight spinning reel LUVIAS, refined to achieve even lighter winding and reduced weight. The lineup includes six models, combining ST LT and ST SF, all specialized for finesse fishing.

Maintaining the core performance of the 24LUVIAS LT/SF, the ball bearings in the key rotation components have been upgraded from grease-based to oil-based. By choosing oil-based bearings, which have lower viscosity, the reel achieves an ultra-smooth, light rotation at the expense of the higher durability of grease-based bearings. Furthermore, the Magseal, which is crucial for waterproofing and dustproofing in the pinion section, has been purposely omitted, achieving a slight, unlisted reduction in weight.

In terms of design, the 24LUVIAS ST retains the base of the 24LUVIAS LT/SF, but with refinements: the spool is matte black, and the handle and engine plate are changed to gunmetal (compared to the gunmetal and silver combination of the LT/SF), creating a more stoic aesthetic.

Differences from the Normal 24LUVIAS Model

The ball bearings in the key rotation components have been changed to oil-based ball bearings.
