A new series of PE lines has been introduced. With "sharpness/stiffness," it suppresses line troubles, and durability is increased by three times against wear and tear.

This new series of PE lines stands alongside Pit Bull. It adopts Honeywells Spectra® material for the PE material. It is finished with an 8-strand weave using the MX2 method, allowing for improved abrasion resistance and moderate "sharpness/stiffness." This PE line is not only suitable for spinning reels but also for baitcasting reels.

In lure fishing, there are various demands placed on the line.

The need for strength that wont break even during fights with big fish, abrasion resistance that allows for confident casting near structures where fish are likely to be found, trouble avoidance capabilities, and the exhilarating feeling of casting. To meet these high demands, the development of HARDBULL8+ began.

Through extensive material verification in the lab and numerous test fishing trips in real fishing environments, we have refined the wisdom of instructors and the technology possessed by Shimano in the field.

As a result, the stiffness and sharpness inherent in HARDBULL8+ have the potential to overturn the conventional wisdom of PE lines, offering a fishing experience that sets it apart from traditional PE lines.

Finally, HARDBULL8+, which significantly changes the fixed concept of PE lines, has been completed.
