The HERO series of reels, newly released by Vision in 2021, are manufactured by machine-cutting die-cast material. This provides a high cost-performance ratio while being more refined in design and lighter than traditional die-cast reels. Models from 35 to 79 feature a five-layer carbon disc drag system that operates smoothly.
All models are finished with a matte finish, presenting a chic image distinct from the flashy, cheap-looking machine-cut reels.
The 46 model is designed for 5-6 fly lines. The matte black and brown colors are particularly stylish.

The HERO Fly reel is affordable yet equipped with a smooth and powerful disc brake. The narrow large-arbor spool resists line memory and is lightweight. It balances well even when set on longer rods, making it less tiring to use.
